He stated, instead Muslims seem to be focusing more on the phrases in the scripture that encourage violence. He said extremists pick and choose phrases that justify their "evil actions". Therefore the need to be moderate Muslims in this day and age who value peace and forgiveness.
He further stressed the need of Islam clerics taking the lead to teach the young generation that the holly book is not about violence but about love. Added that only way to do that is to teach and stress on the teachings that promote forgiveness rather than the phrases that encourage punishment or other violent means.
